About the Data Standards Body

The Australian Government established the Data Standards Body (DSB) to deliver open standards to support the:

  • Digital ID

How we work

The DSB works with industry and government experts across Australia.

We conduct consultations to produce appropriate advice to the Data Standards Chair.

The DSB focuses on:

  • data standards development
  • consultation and stakeholder engagement
  • data standards guidance

Data Standards – Consumer Data Right

The DSB develops Data Standards for the Consumer Data Right. These are referred to as the Consumer Data Standards.

The DSB assists the Data Standards Chair to develop the Consumer Data Standards and CX guidelines.

Development is open source and in collaboration with data holders, accredited data recipients and all CDR participants.
